Job Description
Our client is a Housing Assoication based in North West London. They have 6000 units of housing stock and going through a time of change so looking for strong team members to contiue its excellent service. They are currently seeking a Senior Surveyor who will also foucs on Health and Safety.
Responsibilities:
• To ensure that the Association is able to properly discharge all its legal obligations and related duties under current Health and Safety legislation
• To be responsible for the development and implementation of robust H&S strategies, processes, policies and procedures. To deliver a structured staff training and development programme to increase H&S awareness and compliance using internal and external resources
• To audit and monitor H&S compliance through established policies and procedures throughout Property Services and the organisation as a whole
• To act as the focal point for H&S expertise across the organisation
• Prepare health and safety strategies and develop internal policy
• Carrying out risk assessments and identify strategies in consultation with senior managers on how risks could be reduced
• Attend meetings to give safety advice as needed
Our client will be offering a competitive salary of 37K per annum.
